Muse in the studio
Muse have been in the studio for quite some time now, and have used studios in Ireland, LA and London. The title for the third album is still to be confirmed. Previous rumours have suggested the names "Universal Melodies" and "The Smallprint", but both have been denied by Muse.

How will this album be different?
The third album, according to Matt, will be "uplifting". It will feature some new sounds never before used by Muse, such as string arrangements, some older synthesisers, and a few obscure percussion instruments such as a "hipgig" which even Dom admitted to not having heard of before. |

Who else is working on the album?
Muse will be working with two new producers for most of the third album. Rich Costey, who has worked with Audioslave, Cave-in, Dave Navarro and Rage Against The Machine, will no-doubt give a personal touch to the album, and John Cornfield, who was also the producer of "Dead Star", will work on a few tracks. Finally, Paul Reeve, who has worked with Muse from the start, will produce a couple of tracks. |
